WELCOME

The Faculteit Maatschappij- en Gedragswetenschappen (FMG or Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences, SBS) is the youngest department of the University of Curaçao and has about 300 students.
The faculty strives to educate excellent experts who are versed to work with the various social phenomena of the different cultures of Curaçao making them responsible stakeholders of the promotion of human values both locally and globally.
The department started at the UNA in 2008 with the undergraduate program Bachelor Social Work, having merged with Hogma, the former institute for higher education in social work on Curaçao.
In 2010, the program Master Social Work was launched. In 2011, the department will start with the two minor programs Human Resource Management and Families and Youth. Read more...
